The COMET 3 blowpipe, when used with appropriate attachments, is suitable for fusion welding, braze welding, brazing, soldering, heating, hand cutting, sheet metal cutting, rivet cutting, powder facing and flame cleaning.

The COMET 3 Cutting Attachment is used in conjunction with the COMET 3 Blowpipe and is suitable for hand cutting, sheet metal cutting, rivet cutting, heating and gouging.

COMET 3 Type 574 mixer is an injector mixer used for heating with Oxy/LPG, Oxy/Natural gas combinations, in heavy duty high flow applications. For use with SHP3 and SHP4 heating tips only.

• Hand tightening for easy attachment onto COMET 3 Blowpipe. (O ring seals ensure a perfect gas-tight connection every time)
• Large flutes on mixer give easy positive handling, even when wearing welding gloves
• Mixer 574 is an injector mixer and can be used with either Oxy/LP gas or Oxy/Natural gas
• Offers high resistance to backfire, regardless of the gas type or flow setting

The COMET Multi-Purpose 3 Cutting Torch can be used in a wide variety of heavy industrial applications that include heavy duty cutting, gouging, steel construction, foundry, demolition and scrap cutting. A universal multi-fuel mixer allows the torch to operate with Oxy/Acet, Oxy/LPG & Oxy/ Natural gas without the need to change the mixer.

• Twin Stainless steel tubes are silver brazed into the head and valve body, providing both strength and protection against dangerous gas leaks.
• Universal Multi-fuel mixer is suitable for use with Acetylene, LP Gas & Natural Gas.
• Cutting oxygen valve has been designed to allow flow control from a slow bleed to full capacity – Ideal for piercing.
